Through my work, I wish to write sound poetry by combining the performative gestures of improvisation, with the use of any instrument, and socio-political statements. I perceive sound art as a tool to engage listeners and prompt their participation. Through spoken word, field recordings, sound-making instruments and sampling, I want to tell a story about the things that matter in our every day lives. Deep listening helps in establishing a new relationship with music, beyond scores. A musical instrument is what makes your soul vibrations audible. So it can be anything. In this atonal context the focus shifts from harmony to other dimensions of music like audio metaphors and the spontaneous interaction between musicians and sounds.
